Custom portraits are an investment.  Each portrait is created with the finest attention to detail. 

Your images are printed on only the finest materials and are guaranteed to last a lifetime.

If for any reason you are unhappy with your session, Kari will gladly re shoot, reprint, or refund your session.

On Location Portrait Pricing

Portrait sessions take place at the location of your choice within the Twin Cities metro area.

Possible locations may include: in your home, a local park, downtown, hospital, etc.

On location portrait session:  $100

Your session fee covers not only the photographers time to actually take your portrait, but it covers the processing of your images, design of standard items, proofing, basic retouching and customization of your portraits.

Includes an online proofing gallery, available for 2 weeks.  

Should you need more time, your gallery may be republished for $25 each additional 2 weeks.

Maternity sessions are FREE when you prepay for a newborn photography session.

Session fee does not include prints. Add 6.5 % MN sales tax to all sessions and orders.
 

Wedding Photography

Collections start at $1500.  Please inquire with Kari for more details.
 

Portraits

All prints  8x10 and larger are mounted for durability and printed in a linen finish.

 Upgrades are available to metallic and and canvas heirloom portraits.

Sizes listed below are standard sizes.  Inquire with Kari about custom sizes.

For senior portraits, or for those who need a lot of wallets, take 20% off your wallets when your order 4 or more sets of the same proof.

Wall Portraits

10x20 storyboard - includes 3-4 images - $150

Wall portraits are signed by Kari Layland.

Kari Layland Photography is pleased to offer you our new line of canvas prints. Your portrait will be printed on museum quality canvas and hand stretched onto a custom built, 1.5" thick wooden frame. The image will be gallery wrapped, continuing around the sides of the frame for a beautiful print, ready to hang on your wall. No additional custom framing is needed. In addition to our standard sizes, we can produce any size you desire. Please ask about custom sizes and shapes, whether it be a square or rectangle shape. Our canvas prints are perfect for filling any large wall space in your home. We guarantee the print to be very sharp even at the largest size you can imagine.

Custom Greeting Card Design

I will create a custom design for a birth announcement, holiday card, invitation, etc. using the proofs of your choice.

$20 creation fee includes a preview and two revisions. $5 each additional revision.

Greeting cards

4x8 or 5x7 flat cards -$1.25 each (minimum 25) Add 10 cents per card for metallic finish.

4x5.5 folded cards - $2 each -  ordered in sets of 25

5x7 folded cards - $2.50 each -  ordered in sets of 25

5x5 tri fold cards on linen paper - $3.25 each -  ordered in sets of 25

Discounts available for large order quantities, starting at a quantity of 100 cards.

Keepsake Album

A beautiful hand made leather album displaying up to 30 5x7 images from your session.

$450

DVD slideshow

$150 with a print order of over $250.
 

Archival CD

$150 with a $350 print purchase. 

Includes medium resolution digital images of your 5 favorite images on CD Rom, printable up to 5x7 size. 

Includes a use release giving you permission to print your photos as you wish.
 

Frequent Photo Programs

Baby Milestones Program

Celebrate the many milestones of your baby's first year.

$200 Includes four sessions in the course of 14 months and your choice of ONE of the following:

25 - 5x5 tri fold birth announcements

25 - 5x5 tri fold first birthday invitations

10x20 storyboard featuring your favorite portrait from each session and your child's name

Additional sessions may be added to the baby program for $50.

Photo Books
Turn your portraits into a story with a photo book. Arranged with captions from your photo session.

Deluxe Hardcover Book

For those moments that deserved to be remembered with the highest quality and detail.  Great for baby's first year,  graduation, vacations, or any other event that you want want to continue to share for years to come.  Each book is custom designed with your photos in mind, with 20 to 80 photos covering each linen page and bound to perfection.  The cover of the book is customized with your favorite image on the front and bio on the back.

Storyboards

Created with 3 or more of your favorite images, a storyboard lets you display multiple images together on one print. This is a great way to display photos of multiple children, and since kids have so many sides to their personalities, a storyboard is a great way to showcase this.

Storyboards start at $150 for a 10x20 with 3 images. Additional images may be added at $10 each.

Additional sizes are available, as well as canvas wraps. Contact Kari for a quote.
