Thank you so much for considering me as your photographer! I consider my style to be modern classic.  I combine timeless, guided romantic portraits with a candid, relaxed, fun photojournalistic style.  My goal is to capture that stunning wedding portrait for your wall, then follow you throughout the day capturing each candid moment and emotion as it happens.  Over the 11 years that I've been photographing weddings, I've perfected my skills with the camera, finding or creating the best light so that your images are crisp, vibrant and flattering.  My skills with the camera are second nature to me, which allows me to focus on the moments, details and bringing out your best.   I am there to create memories of your day that not only show your best side, but also represent who you are and capture the joy that you and your guests are feeling on your special day.  I accept no more than one full wedding per month, which allows me to be excited for each wedding, and able to give you my best work. 

I believe that every wedding is unique and should be just as that. It is a great honor to be able to capture every moment and emotion of the biggest day of your life!

2014 Wedding Information
All images are edited for color correctness, exposure, and effect.  Facial retouching is included for the bride and groom*.

*Extensive retouching may incur additional fees if requested.
Your wedding photography package includes:

- 8 hour full day coverage with Kari Layland and a second photographer
- Online gallery available to you for 3 months
- A disc of high resolution images taken on your wedding day, professionally enhanced with facial retouching for the bride and groom. An average wedding results in approximately 700 images.
- A custom designed 9x12 30 page/15 spread flush mount wedding album with your choice of covers. (additional spreads may be added for an additional charge)

Add a portrait session within 1 year of the wedding for $300* (engagement, boudoir, bridal, trash the dress, maternity, etc.) - *Includes your favorite 15 images on disc, printable up to 8x10.  This portrait rate is exclusive to wedding clients.

Engagement Guestbook - $200
8x8 hardcover book featuring your engagement photos. Features magazine style pages with lots of blank space for guest’s messages.

Having a small, weekday wedding?  The a la carte option may be right for you.

A la Carte - For weddings under 6 hours.  Not available for Saturday weddings.
First 2 hours coverage - $900
Add $350 for each additional hour of coverage.
A la carte coverage includes:
- A disc of high resolution, professionally edited images
- an online gallery of your wedding for 90 days.
