The venues for these workshops will be announced shortly, but will be held within the southeast suburbs of St Paul, MN.
These workshops are intended to help aspiring photographers and photo enthusiasts at a beginning to intermediate level. The main topic of these workshops is photographing people, with a focus on children.
We will be discussing:

flattering angles
composition
posing
shooting in RAW
answering your questions
We will spend lots of time shooting in various situations including in home natural light and outdoors, and working with reflectors. We will also touch on studio lighting and flash toward the end of the workshop. We will have young models of various ages, including infants, preschoolers and teenagers. You will have the opportunity to watch me work, photograph the models yourself and ask questions as we go. After spending hours shooting and refining your skills, we'll sit down together on the computer and post process our images in Photoshop. I'll show you how slight adjustments can dramatically affect the impact of your images.
Registration is $250 and includes lunch, dinner and lots of knowledge!
A private blog for workshop attendees only will be available to you after the workshop to address your questions and show off your beautiful new photography!
You will need:
- A DSLR camera
- Your cute self and some walking shoes - dress comfy
Helpful but NOT required:
A form of Photoshop with RAW editing capability
